Improving lives in lots of ways

We’re driven entirely by the voices and views of young people. We work with them across four major areas:

Co-creation of youth services

Our co-creation model covers both the commissioning and assessment of youth services to meet local needs and determine priorities. That means we can feed insights about what’s needed by young people back into the market to better support the voluntary sector.

Lambeth Youth Council

Lambeth Youth Council provides opportunities for young people in our community to engage directly with decision-makers and influencers, and have their voices heard on the issues that matter most to them.

Voluntary sector support & partnerships

We provide funding, training, support and networking events to boost the effectiveness of projects and frontline services in the voluntary sector.

Pathway co-ordination

We engage with young people one-to-one and help them to connect with services that can give them the help and support they need.

We also work directly with parents, corporate partners, the local community and more to ensure our services are as good as they can be for the young people we work with.

Dear YLC Member,

A Co-operative Local Investment Plan (CLIP) is a non-statutory local area plan that identifies local priorities for the Community Infrastructure Levy funding. The funding comes from local developers.

Following its success the YLC are now offering more training packages including; the initial training for those who missed out the first time, a level two for those who completed the earlier training and would like enhanced training around LGBT friendly policies, online safety and understanding of terminology.
