YLC members take a trip to Sky television studios

Last October some of our lucky YLC members had the opportunity to visit Sky television studios. We teamed up with the Sky Academy Skills Studios created by Sky for young people to get hands on experience in the broadcast media industry.

Our members worked with other young people to create a news report on the topic of 'youth vote', and even got a special viewing of a real Sky Sports news report being broadcast live at the same time.

This is just one of many opportunities available to YLC members. Getting involved is about sharing your opinions and we really do want to hear from you. If you're a YLC member, there are many ways to be heard including becoming a more active member of the YLC. This could mean representing us at events, at your school or college, sharing your talents, signing up other members and ultimately deciding where the funding for youth services should go in Lambeth.

These YLC members had a great time - get in touch with us if you're a YLC member looking to get more involved with the YLC at inbox@younglambethcoop.co.uk.
